First Wave Voyager Allowlist & Naming Competition
On June 9th, 2023, one of our first milestones was reached as we proudly introduced our first allowlist “First Wave Voyager”. This offering was a celebration of the upcoming release of “Project X” and the unique contributions and collections of POPs by our users.
To unlock this allowlist, users had to collect at least 6 POPs from Batch 1 and 2. After collecting the required number, users became eligible to enter our Project X Naming Competition through Discord and its integration with Collab.land.
The competition’s first phase involved receiving naming submissions for “Project X”, which lasted from June 9th, 2023 to June 15th, 2023. Once we received all submissions, we released our three nominations: POPO Bros, Hero of POP, and Golden Guardians.
Users accessed our Discord Server to vote from June 15th, 2023 to June 30th, 2023. Ultimately, the winning name of our competition was “Golden Guardians”.
We feel honored to have had our community participate and decide on the name of our new game, and we believe this process marks the beginning of decentralized governance in gaming. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who participated.
Frenship Updates: Partnership with W3W and Membership with Blockchain Gaming Alliance
We are thrilled to announce two amazing partnerships: W3W and Blockchain Gaming Alliance. These are two incredible groups that we had the unique opportunity to meet at Consensus, and we are excited to work closely together to spearhead the mass adoption of blockchain gaming.
W3W is a next-generation web3 intelligence platform that empowers communities to discover and engage their true users. W3W AI-powered tools provide valuable insights for optimizing community management, including customer segmentation, community and wallet analysis, and actionable reporting, while also offering powerful features like airdrops, email marketing, and Discord role management to incentivize and engage users.
We believe that our partnership with W3W will play an integral role in managing and growing our communities, leveraging their solutions to identify data and customer relationship opportunities while developing engaging campaigns for our community’s continued success.
Blockchain Gaming Alliance (BGA) is a non profit organization committed to promoting blockchain within the gaming industry. BGA provides an open forum for individuals and companies to share knowledge, collaborate, network, create common standards, and establish best practices.
Our membership in BGA presents an incredible opportunity to connect with exceptional key opinion leaders (KOLs) and founders, enabling us to collaborate on propelling the mass adoption of blockchain gaming. We are excited to participate in working groups, sharing our insights and experiences as we contribute to the broader GameFi ecosystem. Joining BGA marks one of our initial steps toward deeper engagement within this thriving ecosystem.
Batch #3 POPs
On July 3rd, our Community Team joined forces with our Product and Engineering Teams to curate 11 captivating new POPs for our esteemed community to indulge in. These Community POPs have been thoughtfully crafted to enhance the onboarding experience and foster engagement before the official release of our games. While Batch #3 aligns with our onboarding focus, we have introduced exciting opportunities for our users to contribute to our ecosystem and earn redeemable rewards in the future. Allow us to highlight a few noteworthy additions:
- Your Opinion Matters: By sparing just 4 minutes to complete the NAODA user feedback survey, you can provide invaluable input to help us enhance our service and better cater to the needs of our community.
- Brain Buff: Put your knowledge to the test by conquering two quizzes, akin to our esteemed Teacher’s Pet challenge. Upon successful completion, you will be rewarded with the esteemed Brain Buff POP.
- Guide me NAO: Unleash your creativity by creating onboarding content or guides designed to assist fellow voyagers in navigating the realms of NAODA. Whether it’s through Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, pictures, blogs, or any other online medium of your choice, your informative contributions will be greatly appreciated. Once you’ve created the content, simply inform our NAODA Community Team through Discord via TicketTool.
As we continue to receive valuable insights through our community surveys, we eagerly anticipate the unveiling of more tantalizing POPs to further invigorate our beloved community. Stay tuned, voyagers, for there are exciting adventures on the horizon!
Community Discord Live
Our NAODA Community Team orchestrated two engaging Discord Live sessions in June! These sessions featured our esteemed Community Lead, Sungmin, our diligent Community Manager, Kevin, and our insightful Partnerships & Ecosystem representative, David, who graciously shared updates and interacted with our vibrant community.
During our first Discord Live session, Sungmin and Kevin delved into a range of compelling topics. They commenced with an introduction to NAODA and FLASK, unveiling the vision of creating an enduring universe where users can revel in the joy of ownership and earnings from their own content. They also highlighted the competitive advantage of NAODA, showcasing the exceptional quality of games crafted on Unreal Engine 5 and Unity, while emphasizing the significance of fostering an enjoyable and playful experience prior to focusing on earnings. Furthermore, they elucidated the utility of soulbound tokens (SBTs) and how our version, known as POPs, serves to record both off-chain and on-chain data, ensuring transparent allocation of rewards based on user participation.
In our second Discord Live session, Kevin and David provided an array of platform updates. These updates encompassed the unveiling of Batch #3 POPs, mobile user interface enhancements, the addition of sign-in with Apple for seamless authentication, a streamlined referral system, and crucial insights regarding the highly anticipated First Wave Voyager Allowlist. Furthermore, Kevin and David graciously fielded questions from the community, providing valuable insights and clarification on various aspects of NAODA, particularly regarding the release of games.
As our platform continues to grow, our dedicated Community Team is committed to hosting bi-weekly Discord AMAs, serving as an invaluable space for updates, while remaining responsive to the community’s queries and feedback within the expansive NAODA ecosystem.
