Hey Overtakers!
The CBT Pass NFT for our first game, Somnis: Rumble Rush, was 🔥SOLD OUT🔥 in less than 9 hours. A huge thank you to our community for all your support, 😘 and thanks to you guys, Overtake is well on its way to the moon! 🚀
The game is live, and CBT Pass NFT holders can now play Somnis: Rumble Rush. Please note that the closed beta test (CBT) for Somnis: Rumble Rush is currently available on Android devices only… 😢
(But don’t worry, 🤫 there’s a way to participate in CBT on PC environments by downloading an emulator! Read on if you need help installing and running Somnis on an emulator.)
We recommend using BlueStacks, but feel free to use whatever if you have an emulator you’re already using. If you have an emulator, skip to Part B to install the Somnis APK file, if you need help from the start, keep reading 😄
✅Part A. Install an emulator.
Step 1. Head to BlueStacks, then click on “Download Bluestacks 5” in the upper right hand corner.
Step 2. Once you have downloaded the BlueStacks installer, click on it to begin installing the BlueStacks emulator.
Step 3. Once you have opened the BlueStacks installer, you’ll see a pop-up asking if you would like to let the BlueStacks emulator make changes to your computer.
Click yes, and click through the instructions until you see the screen below. Let’s go download the Somnis: Rumble Rush APK file while we wait for the emulator to finish downloading!
✅Part B. Downloading the Somnis: Rumble Rush APK.
Step 1. Head to the Somnis: Rumble Rush CBT page, and connect your wallet! Once you have logged in, click on the “Download From Overtake” button on the left side of the page.
(⚠️Keep in mind only CBT Pass NFT holders will be able to download the Somnis: Rumble Rush APK file! If you weren’t able to acquire a CBT Pass NFT, keep your eyes open 👀 for the Open Beta Test scheduled for August!)
Step 2. Once you see the pop-up below, check the box to agree to the Terms of Service, and click on “Download Somnis CBT.”
Step 3. Once you see the Somnis CBT APK file start downloading in the upper right corner, head back to your emulator.
Step 4. If you have successfully finished installing your emulator, you should see this screen below. Go to the right side of the emulator window and click on the “Install APK” button, or use the Ctrl+Shift+B command on Windows.
Step 5. Once the Somnis CBT APK file has finished downloading, you’ll be able to see it in the Downloads folder on your PC as seen in the image below. Click on the APK file and open.
Step 6. Once you see the Somnis APK file finish uploading onto the emulator, you’ll see the Somnis: Rumble Rush icon as you see below. Click on the icon to open Somnis: Rumble Rush!
Step 7. The app will ask you to log in, so log in using your Immutable Passport.
Step 8. Once signed in, you might see a pop-up that says you have failed to sign in. If you do, don’t worry! Press the arrow button in the top left corner (next to BlueStacks App Player) to close out the window, and open Somnis again. Click on “Immutable” to log in, and you should be good to go!
