Get Ready for The Red One: Occultation — First Closed Beta Test!
The wait is almost over! We’re excited to announce the 1st CBT for The Red One: Occultation, running from December 13th to 17th, 2024. The Red One: Occultation is an exhilarating multiplayer third-person shooter set on Mars, where players must navigate an alien attack alongside their team. As the grand finale of the Overtake ecosystem, this high-stakes game combines tactical teamwork, intense combat, and competitive gameplay with 10,000 USDC allocated to this CBT.
Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for this exclusive gaming experience.
CBT Schedule
The CBT will feature two gameplay sessions per day, designed to accommodate participants across multiple time zones:
🕒 Session Times Across Time Zones
- UTC: 1:00 ~ 3:00, 15:00 ~ 17:00
- KST (Korea): 10:00 ~ 12:00, 00:00 ~ 2:00 (next day)
- PST (USA): 17:00 ~ 19:00 (previous day), 7:00 ~ 9:00
- CET (Europe): 2:00 ~ 4:00, 16:00 ~ 18:00
⚠️ Note: The game is accessible only during these scheduled times, with a total of 10 sessions over 4 days.
⚠️Extraction mode will only be available during Friday ~ Sunday.
Access Codes and Registration
Access codes for the CBT build will be shared via email 24 hours before the first session. These codes will be sent to the email addresses provided during registration through the Google Form.
🔔 Reminder: Please double-check the email you submitted to ensure you receive your access code on time.
Minimum PC Specs
Participants must meet the following minimum PC specifications to join the CBT:
- Graphics Card: GTX 1070 or higher
- Additional Requirements: Stable internet connection
If your PC doesn’t meet these requirements, you may experience performance issues during the CBT sessions.
Prize Pool Breakdown
The Red One: Occultation brings a total prize pool of $10,000 USDC, with rewards structured to incentivize participation:
- $7,000 allocated towards the leaderboard
- $3,000 allocated for UGC (User Generated Content)
Additionally, all participants will receive a special exclusive TRO skin, adding a unique touch to their in-game experience.
A rare and prestigious Chosen One POP will be manually awarded to guilds and standout players. Will you be one of the chosen ones?
Rewards will be distributed after the CBT.

We encourage all participants in the CBT to collect as many media resources as possible, such as gameplay footage, screenshots, and other content. These resources will be invaluable for creating promotional materials and engaging your audience with exclusive insights into The Red One: Occultation.
With $3,000 USDC allocated towards the UGC event, this will go beyond just KOLs and reward the true gamers who enjoy contributing to unique content and amplifying the reach of The Red One: Occultation.
