NFT.NYC Recap (April 12th — April 14th)
Prior to sponsoring Consensus 2023, the NAODA team attended NFT.NYC to learn more about the NFT space and forge stronger connections with new and existing communities. During the three-day event from April 12th to April 14th, our team attended several notable events, such as those hosted by Azra Games and 0xPolygon. The experience yielded valuable insights, highlighting the importance of frictionless onboarding for Web 2 users, the benefits of cultivating alliances with other GameFi organizations to exchange best practices and tackle shared challenges, and the potential of creating more engaging opportunities for community members.
During NFT.NYC, we offered a special incentive to attendees who recognized our team members: POPOrazzi POP. This was our way of encouraging users to engage with us and collect this exquisite POP. Be on the lookout for future events where our team will be ready to distribute this POP.
Polygon Integration (April 19th — April 26th)
On April 19th, NAODA announced our official integration with 0xPolygon Labs. NAODA has been building upon the Polygon blockchain, a layer 2 (L2) scaling solution for the Ethereum network. With Polygon’s suite of powerful solutions, we will deliver a seamless experience for our community.
Polygon is a L2 scaling solution for Ethereum that provides a suite of solutions beneficial to emerging and existing GameFi projects. Polygon Labs offers low transaction fees, fast transaction speeds, interoperability with Ethereum, a developer-friendly environment, and community support for projects building on 0xPolygon. Polygon has also partnered with big players in Web 2 and Web 3 (such as OpenSea, Nexon, and Adidas) to drive mass adoption of blockchain technology. For NAODA, these benefits are key to improving scalability, performance, and user experience while remaining connected to the existing Ethereum ecosystem and community.
By building on 0xPolygon, NAODA is on track to lead the mass adoption of blockchain technology by providing high-end gaming experiences. Our team has access to resources and knowledge-sharing opportunities with the developers of Polygon and other incredible projects building on the Polygon mainnet. As we continue our roadmap, we hope to build meaningful partnerships within the larger ecosystem to support the widespread adoption of GameFi. To celebrate our integration, we issued a limited-time premier POP called POPlygon.
NAODA’s Sponsorship at Consensus 2023 (April 25th — April 28th)
We were very fortunate to have sponsored Consensus 2023, which had more than 50 sponsors and 14,000 attendees from around the world. It was an incredible launchpad for us to showcase our project and vision. Our team arrived on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 to begin preparations for the three-day convention. We made sure that our giveaways had arrived, our media assets were ready to be shared, and that our team was well-rested for Consensus 2023.
Our team actively attended numerous networking events and projects, with a focus on GameFi. During these events, we forged several notable new relationships committed to promoting blockchain within the gaming industry. At our booth (#653), we had the opportunity to engage with over 135 projects, each invested in building a stronger Web 3 ecosystem. Our interactions ranged from investors to dApps aimed at enhancing the user gaming experiences. Through these exchanges, NAODA built new friendships and connections that align with our vision towards the mass adoption of Web 3 gaming.
At Consensus, our team provided POP cards to attendees. New users were able to redeem Attend NAO! POP using the provided code. Our goal was to offer a unique incentive to those attending our offline sponsored event, showcase our commitment to building a strong community, and hype up NAODA voyagers with what’s to come.

What’s Upcoming in May
- On May 11th, batch #2 of Community POPs was released in preparation for Beta Master POP.
- On May 16th, 2023 at 8:00 PM KST (UTC+9), NAODA will host a Twitter Space with Connext Network to discuss about GameFi and interoperability.
